Little Gems and Little Angels |
(aged 3 – 5 years)
 These are our two preschool rooms in which we care for twelve children. The staff: child ratio is one staff member to every eight children; therefore there are two staff members to care for the children.
The children are encouraged to follow the nursery’s routine e.g. mealtimes and sleep times however this is flexible to suit each child’s need and/or parent/guardian’s wishes.
At this stage some children are continuing to ‘master’ potty training and therefore, if needed, we will offer you and your child full support with this.
We provide activities such as role play, number, shape and letter activities, building dens, science activities and cooking etc plus many more.
In this room we offer a couple of extra curricular activities such as sports lessons, more information can be provided to you if required.
We follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and provide fun and stimulating activities to suit the age and stage of each individual child’s development. They will have a key person who is a carer who will support you and your child during the settling in stage. The key person will also help and monitor your child’s development and will keep you informed of their progress throughout their time in Little Gems or Little Angels.
